Ballet Examinations
Students at The Metropolitan School of Dance may be entered for both Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Irish Board of Dance Performance examinations.
While examinations are not compulsory, they are encouraged as they help students build confidence, improve technique, and work towards personal goals in a positive and supportive environment.
Examination Entry
Examination entry is at the discretion of the teacher and is based on the student's progress, attendance, and readiness.
Requirements
As a guideline, students should attend a minimum of 2 classes per week for Irish Board examinations and 3–4 classes per week for RAD examinations, depending on their level.
